Most Anticipated (34)

After Daybreak (Darkness Before Dawn Trilogy, #3)
My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is...After Daybreak. I really enjoyed the first two books in this trilogy. I like that these books have kept me guessing and I'm always wondering what is going to happen next. Book two, Blood-Kissed Sky had me on the edge of my seat and the ending had me wishing After Daybreak's release date wasn't so far away. I love the way the vampires are portrayed in these books. They have an an edge to them and most of them aren't very friendly. I'm also excited to see if we find out more about the other cities in this world since book one took place in Denver and book two introduced readers to Los Angeles. I will definitely be getting this one when it comes out!

Summary:
Dawn returns from L.A. with terrifying news: In his greed for power, the maniacal Day Walker Sin is raising an army and infecting his followers with the Thirst—a rabieslike disease that will turn them into mindless killers. To stop him, Dawn and Victor will have to convince humans and vampires to work together before it’s too late.(Goodreads)

Most Anticipated (33)

Dance of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death, #2)

This week My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is, Dance of the Red Death. I have been dying to read the first book, Masque of the Red Death, and I finally got the chance to buy it. It sounds great and I am already eagerly awaiting the sequel. So hopefully it will be as good as I imagine.

Summary:
In Dance of the Red Death, Araby’s world is in shambles—betrayal, death, disease, and evil forces surround her. She has no one to trust. But she finds herself and discovers that she will fight for the people she loves, and for her city.

Her revenge will take place at the menacing masked ball, though it could destroy her and everyone she loves…or it could turn her into a hero.

With a nod to Edgar Allan Poe, Bethany Griffin concludes her tragic and mysterious Red Death series with a heroine that young adult readers will never forget.

Dance of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death #2), Bethany Griffin. Expected Publication: June 11, 2013; Greenwillow Books. Hardcover, 336 pgs.
That's what I'm looking forward to this week. How about you? What books do you want to get this week?

Lack of Posting

I just wanted to give a quick update to let everyone know that no I haven't stopped blogging. You may have noticed that I haven't posted anything since last week, or maybe you didn't. My internet has been crazy spotty since then and it seems every time I get on to do some blog stuff it decides it's time to go out. I'm hoping that it will at least allow me to do a post for Thursday and hopefully I'll get some reviews done in the meantime.

What have I been doing instead? Reading, reading and you guessed it, more reading. I have done a ton of reading but I have been crazy lazy and have yet to do reviews for all the books I have read this year. I want to catch up but I probably won't be able to review every book that I have read. Maybe I'll do shortened reviews and post on the weekends, which I don't normally do. We'll see.

Just wanted to let you know why I have been so absent lately. And hopefully my internet will stop sucking and I'll be able to post more regularly.
