Awkward Mondays
I'm not a huge fan of Mondays, how about you? To help deal with the dread I try to post some of my favorite awkward moments from my latest reads. I wasn't able to find any this week. If you have some let me know. I love me some awkward moments.

Awkward Mondays
My latest read is Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick. Since I'm not a fan of Mondays I figured some weird awkward moments from Crescendo might help. Here are a couple that I enjoyed from this novel." 'The thing is, I really wanted to ask Scott to the Summer Solstice part at Delphic, but I couldn't bring myself to do it in person. This is really awkward.' I walked to the desk and offered him the hot dog along with the scrap of paper I'd scribbled the note on. 'Don't be a wiener,' Scott read. 'Go to the Summer Solstice with me.' "
" To my horror Patch has his back to me, walking toward the Jeep. He punched a number into his cell and raised it to his ear. Two seconds later, my cell phone sang out in my pocket. Before I could hurl the cell into the bushes at the edge of the property, Patch came to a stop...." 'And here I thought they were called Peeping Toms.' "
That's all for now, not as many awkward moments in Crescendo but there were a few.

Awkward Mondays
" 'I'm all yours.' it slipped out before I could stop it. 'Er...I mean I think I'm going to be in trouble either way since I spent the night with you...here, I mean, spent the night here.' I stopped taking and sighed deeply.'I have time.' Kill me now."
"He tapped his fist on the roof of the SUV. ' But that's not why I followed you I wanted to ask you.. how...um, experienced are you with guys?'...His face was a red as a Santa suit. Squinting and staring at the ground, he used his hands to gesture as he fumbled for words. "I ...er...don't mean it that way, not like physical...' "
"Kaleb's hands slid down my arms, his thumbs tracing lines from my inner elbows to my writs. Chill bumps formed on my skin and my stomach tightened, anticipation ripping through my system. I leaned back, bumping my head on the cabinet behind me."
