I just finished reading Insurgent by Veronica Roth like 10 minutes ago and I'm dying to get my hands on book 3, which is not even close to being released:(  I decided to share one of my favorite Swoony moments from Insurgent.
"He touches my face, covering my cheeks with his hands, sliding his fingertips down my neck, fitting his fingers to the slight curve of my hips.I can't stop.I fit my mouth to his, and he tastes like water and smells like fresh air. I drag my hand from his neck to the small of his back, and put it under his shirt. He kisses me harder.I knew he was strong; I didn't know how strong until I felt it myself, the muscles in his back tightening beneath my fingers." SWOON #YABound
That's what had me Swooning this week. How about you, what made you Swoon?

My teaser this week is from Fang Girl, a fun read full of sarcasm which I found to be highly entertaining read.
Fang Girl"He was the first vampire I'd ever met. He'd saved me from certain death, kind of. He had unlikely hair, an exotic history, an unbelievably sexy accent, and for God's sake, leather trousers. It was inevitable. I was going to go down there and fall madly in love.
This sucked."
Helen Keeble, Fang Girl  pg 103
That's my teaser. Hope you enjoyed it!
I must say thanks to Andrea @The Bookish Babe since I was able to read this book after winning a copy from her Spooktacular giveaway!

Getting a chance to read a novella from Aiden's POV is just a gigantic bonus. He's one of my favorite male characters and I love getting inside of his head. The scenes I've read from his POV have just made me like him so much more than I already do. Plus the cover is just gorgeous. I definitely can't wait to get my hands on this novella!!

Summary:
Aiden St. Delphi will do anything to save Alex. Even if it means doing the one thing he will never forgive himself for. Even if it means making war against the gods.(Goodreads)

Why I Love YA

There are so many reasons why I am a huge fan of YA books! Lets see...I love the different worlds that can be found inside each book. I often wonder how an author is able to come up with such creative ideas. YA books are so original with complex characters with different personalities which I can't seem to get enough of. I love when a book is able to keep me guessing as well as keep me on the edge of my seat as I get sucked into story. I also love YA books because they are able to take me on an emotional ride and they keep me wanting more!

This week I went with two teasers both of which are from Exiled. Hope you enjoy!
Exiled (The Protector, #1)
"I could see Willy’s lips moving, but I couldn't hear what he said. Before I had time to panic, the darkness gripped me and I collapsed back onto the couch."
"Willy nodded, but looked haunted at the thought. I hated to put him through this, especially after seeing how scared he had been last night, but I didn’t have a choice."

Undeadly (The Reaper Diaries, #1)

This week my
Most Anticipated Release of the Week is: Undeadly by Michele Vail. I first heard about this book from Angela@ The Reading Cave. She posted a Swoon from Undeadly and it seemed like my kind of book. It sounds like a great book. I will definitely be checking this one out!

My Swoon this week comes from Deity. All I can say is, I LOVED this book!! I had a very difficult time choosing which Swoon to choose, but after much debate( and some re-reading of these Swoony moments) here's my Swoon:
"As he kissed me again, he eased onto his back.My heart was hammering against my ribs as his fingers left my face and traveled down. He lifted himself up just enough for me to take off his shirt and toss it aside. My hands splayed across each hard ripple and I kissed my way down until his chest heaved under my lips and he whispered my name in a pleading sort of way. He gripped my arms and pulled me back to his lips." SWOON #YABound
That's what had me Swooning this week and I may still be swooning:D What made you Swoon?

This week my teaser comes from Darkness before Dawn I just started reading this book and so far I'm really liking it.
Darkness Before Dawn (Darkness Before Dawn, #1)
"The three men snap their heads up at once, instantly alert twist around, and stare straight at me. I start to shout at the conductor to get us moving again, but as I watch, his head slowly turns until I think it's going to do a full one-eighty. As if on cue, they all smile."

I'm re-reading Half-Blood by Jennifer L Armentrout to get myself  back into the world of the Covenant before I read book three, Deity. I don't think I've used a Swoon from this book but I decided to go with a scene from Aiden's POV. Which is not in the book but an extra that can be found on Jennifer L Armentrout's website. Since this chapter is so steamy I had to go with two Swoons.
"Our eyes locked. Her chest rose unsteadily against mine as she sucked in a breath I wanted to share. An unfamiliar thing happened. My heart stuttered and then skipped a beat. The room seemed to shift, and I pulled her closer, because she wasn’t close enough. Could never be close enough. My hand drifted from her hair, across the curve of her cheekbone. Gods, she was so beautiful. Pure temptation. My thumb smoothed over her lower lip, and I felt her answering shudder under my skin." SWOON #YABound

"And I stopped thinking. With a growl more animal than civilized, I moved toward her mouth with only one thing in mind. I kissed her. Savoring her mouth, soaking up her response, I was fueled by her desire for more. And though I needed more, in the back of my mind, I already knew that more could never be enough. That if I didn’t stop, I’d never be satisfied. Like a daimon after its first taste of aether, I’d just keep coming back and back. As I fitted her body to mine, the kiss deepened, shocked me to the core. Gods, I wanted this, as bad as that was, I wanted this. Sliding my hands down her shoulders, I followed the curve of her stomach, the subtle flare of hips. Before I knew it, I was taking her to the bedroom. Never breaking contact with her mouth… her body." SWOON #YABound
Hope you enjoyed my Swoons, I know I did. What made you Swoon this week?

I decided to re-read Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout to get back into Alex's world before I start book three, Deity. So his week my teaser is from Half-Blood.

"Somewhere in the building, a floorboard groaned and gave way. A deep howl broke the silence, starting as a low whine before hitting an intense pitch. The scream sounded inhuman, sick and horrifying."
Half-Blood (Covenant #1), Jennifer L. Armentrout, pg 1-2.
That's my teaser for this week. If you have a teaser let me know so I can check it out:)

Most Anticipated (10)

Deity (Covenant, #3)

This week my Most Anticipated Release of the Week is: Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I have been eagerly awaiting this book since the second I finished reading Pure. The ending of Pure left me wanting more information on what was going to happen next in Alex's life. Actually the ending left me screaming WHAT!! I adore the characters in this series and I can't wait to get my hands on this book. And since I am definitely Team Aiden I'm hoping to learn more about him in this book.

Deity (Covenant #3), Jennifer L. Armentrout, Expected Publication Date: November 6, 2012, Spencer Hill Press, Paperback 360pgs.

Summary:
"History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time. "

Alexandria isn't sure she's going to make it to her eighteenth birthday--to her Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she's a goner... and so is Aiden.

If that's not freaky enough, whenever Alex and Seth spend time "training"--which really is just Seth's code word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time--she ends up with another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.

But as her birthday draws near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she's caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed... and destroyed.

Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate...(Goodreads)

That's what I'm looking forward to getting this week. Which book or books are you looking forward to this week?

This week my Swoon comes from Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton. I intended to use this Swoon last week but totally forgot to do my post.
"His fingers trailed up my spine and brushed across my bare throat before threading tenderly through my hair, his thumb tracing along my cheek. When I didn't pull away, he deepened his kiss with a hunger, fervently, as if it were our last, even though it was our first. He finally broke free, but he didn't pull away. He touched his forehead to mine and closed his eyes." Swoon #YABound
That's what made me Swoon this week, or last week. What made you Swoon?
