Most Anticipated (39)

Shark Out of Water (Grab Your Pole, #3)

This week is a HUGE week for books that I'm anticipating. It's difficult to pick which one I want to read the most, but I finally narrowed it down. So without further ado my Most Anticipated Release of the Week is...Shark Out of Water. If you haven't started this series yet I highly suggest that you do, it's amazing and I can't seem to get enough of the characters that Jenn Cooksey has created. Shark Out of Water is book three and since book two, The Other Fish in the Sea left off with a bit of a cliffhanger I have been dying to know what happens next. I know what I'll be doing once this one is released, so I hope no one needs me for anything. I'll definitely be getting lost inside this book!!

Summary:
In Shark Out of Water, the highly anticipated third installment in this humorous yet honest and real coming of age story, we delve even further into the lives of the GYP gang and many questions are sure to be answered, however, are you really ready for what lies ahead in the continuation of their adventure? Well, grab your pole and let’s find out.(Goodreads)

I just started reading Faking It. It's so good that I don't want to stop reading but unfortunately I need at least a few hours of sleep.

"He kissed like he lived—perfectly. His mouth searched mine feverishly and thoroughly, like he needed to taste every part of me. Oh how I had underestimated tender kisses. This kiss was a slow burn that had me squirming against him, ready to beg for more. He placed a light peck on my mouth, and then nipped my bottom lip. His mouth pressed harder against mine, and the kiss crescendoed into something fierce and addicting." SWOON #YABound
Faking It (Losing It #2), Cora Carmack. Kindle 63%
That's my Swoon for this week, hope you enjoy!!

Most Anticipated (38)

A Darkness Strange and Lovely (Something Strange and Deadly, #2)

There are not a lot of books releasing this week but I did see one book I'm looking forward to reading. My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is...A Darkness Strange and Lovely. I've been looking forward to reading the first book in this trilogy for quite some time. But unfortunately my reading pile is out of control and I seem to have an issue with the one-click buying. I love the sounds of this trilogy and I can't wait to get started on it. I just need to tame my pile first.

Summary:
Following an all-out battle with the walking Dead, the Spirit Hunters have fled Philadelphia, leaving Eleanor alone to cope with the devastating aftermath. But there’s more trouble ahead—the evil necromancer Marcus has returned, and his diabolical advances have Eleanor escaping to Paris to seek the help of Joseph, Jie, and the infuriatingly handsome Daniel once again. When she arrives, however, she finds a whole new darkness lurking in this City of Light. As harrowing events unfold, Eleanor is forced to make a deadly decision that will mean life or death for everyone.(Goodreads)
A Darkness Strange and Lovely (Something Strange and Deadly #2), Susan Dennard. Expected Publication: July 23rd 2013; HarperTeen Hardcover, 416 pgs.

This week I had to chose a teaser from Frigid. I really liked this one plus the added thriller aspect of the book made it even better.

"His lips brushed mine once, and then twice. I sucked in a sharp breath and my hands fell to his waist. A deep sound emanated from him, and it rumbled through every part of me, eliciting a series of shivers that skated over my skin. The pressure against my lips increased and his hands slid off my cheeks, delving deep into my hair. He slanted his mouth as he tipped my head back, his teeth tugging on my lower lip, coaxing my mouth to open." SWOON #YABound

Frigid (Frigid #1), J. Lynn. 53%.
That's my Swoon, hope you enjoy!!

My teaser is from Goddess, the final book in the Starcrossed trilogy.

Goddess (Starcrossed, #3)
"Helen could see what she guessed was the River Styx just off to her left. It was a roaring torrent, riddled with icebergs. No sane person would dare swim across it. Feeling stranded, she limped around in a tight circle. A quick scan of the horizon showed that there was no one else on the barren plain."

Goddess (Starcrossed #3), Josephine Angelini. Hardcover pg 1.

That's my teaser for the week. If you have a teaser leave a link so I can go visit.

Most Anticipated (37)

Frigid (Frigid, #1)

My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is...Frigid. I'll pretty much read anything by J Lynn/Jennifer L. Armentrout. After I read the teaser chapters she released I was already hooked. I just wanted to know what happened next with Sydney and Kyler. Since this one is releasing early it's definitely  my most anticipated read this week.

Summary:
For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.(Goodreads)
Frigid (Frigid #1) J.Lynn. Expected Publication: July 15, 2013; Spencer Hill Contemporary.

This week I chose two Swoons, one from Hopeless and the other from Losing Hope. I hope you enjoy them!

"His arm gives way beneath him and he drops his weight on me, pressing himself against me. Everywhere. All of him. We moan simultaneously once our bodies find that perfect connection, and suddenly it’s game on. I’m tearing off his shirt and he’s on his knees, helping me pull it over his head. After it’s completely off, I wrap my legs around his waist and lock him against me, because there could be nothing more detrimental than if he were to pull away right now." SWOON #YABound

Hopeless (Hopeless #1), Colleen Hoover. Kindle Edition 38%

"Then we completely give in together. All four of our hands are frantically pulling off my shirt as if two hands can’t do it fast enough. As soon as it’s off, her legs lock around my waist and she pulls me tightly against her. I drop my forehead back to hers and move against her, finding a new way to force those tiny sounds from her mouth that have quickly become my new favorite song. We continue to move together and the more she gasps and quietly moans, the closer my lips move to hers, wanting to experience those sounds first-hand. I just need a tiny sample of what her kiss will feel like." SWOON #YABound

This week I chose a teaser from Losing Hope. It is such an amazingly emotional book. I loved it!

Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2)

"I never looked at people the same way. I never looked at nature the same way. I never looked at my future the same way. Everything went from having a meaning, a purpose, and a reason, to simply being a second-rate version of what life was supposed to be like."

Losing Hope (Hopeless #2), Colleen Hoover. Kindle 2%.

That's my teaser this week. Hope you enjoy!

Most Anticipated (36)

Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2)

My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is... Losing Hope. First I must say Hopeless was an extremely emotional and intense read. The characters drew me in and I loved reading about how they started to heal and deal with their pasts. Once I heard that we would get Holder's story, I couldn't wait to read it. I love that we will get to read about what he was thinking and doing during Hopeless. I'm a huge fan of getting the story from both main characters so I will definitely be reading this one once it is released.

Summary:
In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.

Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him…

Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs.
Losing Hope (Hopeless #2), Colleen Hoover. Expected Publication: July 8, 2013; Atria Books. Kindle Edition 336 pgs.

I just finished Dare You To and I LOVED it! I wasn't a huge Beth fan while reading Pushing the Limits but I changed my mind after reading Dare You To! I'm just sad that there is no more. Well anyway here's what made me Swoon:

"I press my lips to his innocently one last time, then slide my tongue between his lips. Sparks sizzle in the air as we immediately part our mouths, hungry for more. It’s a lightning storm of fiery kisses and sounds of bliss. Each of us feeds off the other, only building a greater storm—a thunderhead on the verge of explosion." SWOON #YABound

My teaser comes from the book I just finished reading, Blessed Tragedy. It was a free New Adult read on Amazon and it sounded interesting so I had o check it out. It was pretty good!
Blessed Tragedy (Blessed Tragedy, #1)
Madeline Grace Neumann died graduation night when I climbed into my 1977 Chevy Malibu determined to live my life on my own terms. I wasn't looking forward to resurrecting her as we drove down the Interstate. By the time we pulled off at Lexington, Rain Maxwell would be shoved in a box and the pretty, polished Maddie Neumann would walk off the bus I've called home for the past five months.
Blessed Tragedy (Blessed Tragedy#1), HB Heinzer. Kindle 1%.

That's my teaser. What book(s) are you teasing?
