Teaser Tuesday (29)

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB at Should be Reading. Anyone can join in. Here's what you need to do.
Grab your current read.
Open to a random page.
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
Be careful not to include spoilers! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away. You don’t want to ruin the book for others.)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I'm getting ready to start Spark by Brigid Kemmerer. I'm not only giving you a tease of the book but myself as well.
Spark (Elemental, #2)
"Gabriel stared, having no idea what to say. And in that moment of silence, she picked up her backpack and rounded the corner, without once looking back."

"No one could be alive in here. He could barely recognize the normal shapes of furniture. Everything was ablaze."

Brigid Kemmerer, Spark (Elemental #2), pgs 35 & 88

Those are my teasers this week. What do you think? If you have a teaser share the link so I can check it out!

  1. I loved this book! I love how she walks away from him a lot. That makes him come back more for more.
