Synopsis
Some things are worth waiting for…
Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.
Some things are worth experiencing…
Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.
Some things should never be kept quiet…
But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?
And some things are worth fighting for…
WAIT FOR YOU is available now!

Most Anticipated (21)

This week is INSANE when it comes to new releases but I do have a favorite, one I have been eagerly awaiting!!
Never Too Far (Too Far, #2)
My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is, Never Too Far, by Abbi Glines. I read Fallen Too Far one a week or so ago and I couldn't wait for the next book especially after that ending. Well and then there is Rush. I love the intensity of the first book and the secrets and the drama. I was definitely hooked. I CAN'T wait until I get my hands on book two. Then maybe I can stop obsessing about what is going to happen.

Summary:
He had held a secret that destroyed her world.

Everything she had known was no longer true.

Blaire couldn’t stop loving him but she knew she could never forgive him.
Now, she was back home and learning to live again. Moving on with life… until something happened to send her world spinning once again.
What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately?

You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.(Goodreads)

Never Too Far (Too Far #2). Abbi Glines. Expected Publication: February 26, 2013. Kindle
Honrable Mentions:
The Goddess Inheritance (Goddess Test #3), Aimee Carter

These are the books I am looking forward to getting this week. Any books you are interested in getting this week?

Review: "Endure" by Carrie Jones

Endure (Need, #4)
Endure (Need #4)
Publication Date: May 8, 2012
Publisher: Bloomsbury USA Childrens
Hardcover 262 pgs
Summary:
Zara is at the center of an all-out war, and an impending apocalypse. True, she’s successfully rescued Nick from Valhalla, but it simply isn’t enough. Bedford is being ravaged by evil pixies and they need much more than one great warrior; they need an army. Zara isn’t sure what her role is anymore. She’s not just fighting for her friends, she’s also a pixie queen. And to align her team of pixies with the humans she loves will be one of her greatest battles yet. Especially since she can’t even reconcile her growing feelings for her pixie king…

Unexpected turns, surprising revelations, and one utterly satisfying romantic finale make Endure a thrilling end to this series of bestsellers.(Goodreads)
Review:
I was excited to read Endure but sad at the same time since I didn't want this series to end. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, at least that's what they say. Once I started reading I was sucked back into Zara's world of pixies and weres. Everything is coming to a head. Zara must try to prevent the apocalypse so that the world and people she loves won't be destroyed forever. Her town is slowly being destroyed and Zara is doing all that she can to figure out how to stop the apocalypse when the evil pixies always seem to be one step ahead.
It was sad to see Zara struggle with her relationship with Nick. She fought to get him back from Valhalla yet once he came back the two have struggled to deal with the consequences of what Zara had to do to get him back. I'm a huge fan of the interactions between Zara and Astley in this book. He doesn't hover or treat like she's fragile. Astley, as always is by her side supporting the decisions she makes and giving her comfort when she needs it. She also gets a lot of support from her best friend Issie. Who is just as adorable in this book as she was in the others. We don't see as much of the secondary characters as most of the focus is on Zara, and her quest to stop the apocalypse.
I really liked the way this series ended. I enjoyed how Zara's story was far from predictable and had me relishing each page to see how her story would conclude. Endure was intense, sad, compelling, with a bit of romance thrown in. I felt as though all my questions were answered leaving me satisfied as I read the last page.
Cover:
I like how this cover fits in with the other's in this series. I love the bold, gold eye but I wish the head was at a different angle. All in all I think it's very eye catching.

This week my teaser is from, Charade which I really enjoyed.. I've been reading a ton of New Adult books recently and I can't seem to get enough of them.

Charade (Games, #1)
"And even though I don’t like it, there’s something about him that pulls out my secrets. Like he’s a magnet, my past, my secrets and my pain, little shards of metal unable to resist his pull. I don’t understand and I don’t even know if I want to, but it feels good having some of those things siphoned out."

Nyrae Dawn, Charade (Games #1), 38%
That's my teaser. Hope you like it.

Most Anticipated (20)

Mind Games (Mind Games, #1)

My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is, Mind Games by Kiersten White. I loved her Paranormalcy trilogy and now I'm eager to see what see comes up with next. Mind Games sounds like an intense read so I hope it's good.

Summary:
Fia was born with flawless instincts. Her first impulse, her gut feeling, is always exactly right. Her sister, Annie, is blind to the world around her—except when her mind is gripped by strange visions of the future.

Trapped in a school that uses girls with extraordinary powers as tools for corporate espionage, Annie and Fia are forced to choose over and over between using their abilities in twisted, unthinkable ways… or risking each other’s lives by refusing to obey.

In a stunning departure from her New York Times bestselling Paranormalcy trilogy, Kiersten White delivers a slick, edgy, heartstoppingly intense psychological thriller about two sisters determined to protect each other—no matter the cost.(Goodreads)

Mind Games (Mind Games #1) Kiersten White. Expected Publication: February 19, 2013; HarperTeen Hardcover, 256 pgs

That's what I'm looking forward to reading this week. How about you?

Review: "Crimson Frost" by Jennifer Estep

Crimson Frost (Mythos Academy, #4)
Crimson Frost (Mythos Academy #4)
Publication Date: December 24, 2012
Publisher: K-Teen
Paperback 354 pgs
Summary:
For a moment, a face flashed before my eyes—the most hideous face I’d ever seen. No matter how hard I tried to forget what had happened, I saw him everywhere I went. It was Loki—the evil god that I’d helped set free against my will.

I should have known that my first official date with Logan Quinn was destined to end in disaster. If we’d gotten into a sword-fight  or been ambushed by Reapers, I’d have been more prepared. But getting arrested mid-sip at the local coffee hangout? I didn't see that one coming.

I've been accused of purposely helping the Reapers free Loki from his prison—and the person leading the charge against me is Linus Quinn, Logan’s dad. The worst part is that pretty much everyone at Mythos Academy thinks I’m guilty. If I’m going to get out of this mess alive, I’ll have to do it myself.(Goodreads)
Review:
This is one of those series that as soon as it is released I have to get my hands on it. I love the mythology in this the Mythos Academy and of course the characters are amazing too! But the mythology adds a whole different aspect to my reading experience. In the fourth installment of the Mythos Academy, Gwen is once again fighting to survive the reapers of Chaos. After Loki escaped, Gwen is tasked with killing him which she has no idea how to do. But to add to her troubles Gwen is arrested and charged with helping Loki escape by the Protectorate (police of the mythological world) which is headed up by Linus Quinn, Logan's dad. I believe this might cause a problem or two.
While Gwen is fighting to do what is right she is being harassed by those who should be helping her. Though everything seems to be falling down around her Gwen refuses to give up. She's strong and has a great determination to do what is right. Her inner strength keeps her going when everything is stacked against her. I can't help but root for her. Gwen is one of those characters that I want to be happy and succeed at every task placed in front of her. At one point, I was so sad for Gwen but even though she was really hurting, the pain made her more determined to do as Nike asked and kill Loki.
We are introduced to a few new characters, with abilities we haven't seen before. One of the characters is a Ninja another is a Bogatyr each warrior has different traits that they are known for. I love that with each book we learn more about Gwen's mythological world, from exciting creatures to different types of warriors. I would have given this book 5 stars but I knew who the bad guy was as soon as they were introduced. Though I must say the rest of the story was a surprise.
Crimson Frost is a great addition to The Mythos Academy series. I can't wait to read Midnight Frost to see what happens next in this extremely entertaining series. And I've heard there is going to be an e-story told from Logan's POV called Spartan Frost. I can't even tell you how excited I am for this story!
Cover:
This cover is okay though I don't think that it represents the great story told within. I'm not really a fan of the different girl on the cover either. It always frustrates me when the cover model on the cover of a book series changes. However, I do like how the girl has bright violet eyes and is wearing the snowflake necklace Gwen wears.

This week I chose a teaser from Angel Burn which I really enjoyed. I'm a sucker for books that are told from both the female and male's POV.

Angel Burn (Angel, #1)
"The slap of energy was like crashing into a brick wall. My eyes bulged; I couldn't catch my breath. Images were hurtling past almost faster than I could take them in."

Angel Burn (Angel #1) L.A. Weatherly pg 53

That's my teaser this week, I Hope you enjoy!

Most Anticipated (19)

The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines, #3)

This week my Most Anticipated Release of the Week is, The Indigo Spell. I have been looking forward to this book for a very long time. Richelle Mead's writing is addictive and I can't get enough of the world that she has created. I loved the VA series and I love this series as well, especially since Adrian plays a prominent role in the Bloodline series. I love me some Adrian!! I enjoy seeing this world from Sydney's perspective since her voice is much different from Rose's yet I find it equally as compelling.

Summary:
In the aftermath of a forbidden moment that rocked Sydney to her core, she finds herself struggling to draw the line between her Alchemist teachings and what her heart is urging her to do. Then she meets alluring, rebellious Marcus Finch--a former Alchemist who escaped against all odds, and is now on the run. Marcus wants to teach Sydney the secrets he claims the Alchemists are hiding from her. But as he pushes her to rebel against the people who raised her, Sydney finds that breaking free is harder than she thought. There is an old and mysterious magic rooted deeply within her. And as she searches for an evil magic user targeting powerful young witches, she realizes that her only hope is to embrace her magical blood--or else she might be next.(Goodreads)

The Indigo Spell ( Bloodlines #3), Richelle Mead. Expected Publication: February 12, 20 by Razorbill. Hardcover, 401 pgs.

Last week I totally spaced out and forgot to post a Swoon, yeah I know lame and I even had two Swoons I was looking forward to sharing. Since my last read was not swoony I shall use the Swoons I wanted to share last week today! Hope that makes sense, it does in my head (weird place, at times).

"With a gentle pressure, our lips met. His hands slipped more firmly about me, and I held myself back, not afraid but wanting to feel everything slowly as I leaned in, tasting the wine on him, feeling the warmth of his body pressing into mine, breathing in our scents that were mingling and changing with the warmth. My hands rose to find his hair, and I relaxed into him as the silky strands brushed through my fingers. I wanted more, and I leaned into him as our lips moved against each other."  SWOON #YABound ~ Ever After, Kim Harrison

"He dipped his head, slanting his mouth over mine. The kiss didn't meander or hesitate, it went straight to fire. I was a drought-dry field and Nicholas was the spark. Our tongues touched and I felt it all the way down my thighs and into my toes. He backed me up against the wall, one hand on my waist, the other flattened on the stones by my cheek. I couldn't get close enough." SWOON #YABound  ~ Blood Prophecy, Alyxandra Harvey

Those are my Swoons hope you enjoy!!
