Most Anticipated (18)

This week I have two Most Anticipated Releases of the Week Scarlet and Unravel Me. Two sequels I have been dying to read.

Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2)

I read Cinder and I couldn't put it down. It was such an interesting book and I immediately wanted more. I loved the intensity of Cinder. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. How could I not love a book full of mystery, a robot bf, a cyborg main character and a hot prince. Unfortunately I had to wait for book two in the Lunar Chronicles, Scarlet. But the wait is finally over!!

Summary:
Cinder returns in the second thrilling installment of the New York Times-bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive.

Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn’t know about her grandmother and the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she has no choice but to trust him, though he clearly has a few dark secrets of his own.

As Scarlet and Wolf work to unravel one mystery, they find another when they cross paths with Cinder. Together, they must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen who will do anything to make Prince Kai her husband, her king, her prisoner.(Goodreads)

Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles #2), Marissa Meyer. Expected Publication; February 5, 2013, Feiwel and Friends. Hardcover 454 pgs.

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of Shatter Me. I loved this book. Problem, I read the book so long ago that I'll have to do a reread just to remember everything that happened. I still remember loving the book. The originality of Juliette's thoughts and sadness had me hooked. Her world was just so sad and lonely that I wanted her to find some sort of happiness. Her relationship with Adam is a bright spot in an otherwise desolate world. And what about Warner? I just know their is more to him and I can't wait to find out what it is.

Summary:
tick, tick, tick, tick, tick
it's almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life. (Goodreads)

Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2), Tahereh Mafi. Expected Publication; February 5, 2013: HarperCollins, Hardcover 465 pgs.

Those are the books I am looking forward to this week. Any books you have to get this week?
