This week my teaser is from the final book in the Hush Hush series, Finale. So sad I won't be getting anymore stories about Patch but here's a teaser that's all about him!
"The sound of his voice, low and sexy, can melt my heart in three seconds flat. He's also a fallen angel, kicked out of heaven for his flexibility when it comes to following rules. I personally believe Patch scared the pants off normal, and it took off running for the far side of the world"

This week my Most Anticipated Release of the Week is: Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick. I can't wait to get my hands on this book!! It seems like I have been waiting FOREVER to find out what happens in the final installment in the Hush Hush series. I'm really sad that this is the last I'll be reading about Nora and Patch though I can always re-read their story.

Summary:
Nora is more certain than ever that she is in love with Patch. Fallen angel or no, he is the one for her. Her heritage and destiny may mean they are fated to be enemies, but there is no turning her back on him. Now Nora and Patch must gather their strength to face one last, perilous trial. Old enemies return, new enemies are made, and a friend's ultimate betrayal threatens the peace Patch and Nora so desperately want. The battle lines are drawn—but which sides are they on? And in the end, are there some obstacles even love can't conquer?(Goodreads)

Review of "The Evolution of Mara Dyer" by Michelle Hodkin
The Evolution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer #2)
Michelle Hodkin
Publication Date: October 23, 2012
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers
ARC 530pgs
Summary:
Things aren't looking good for Mara Dyer. After what many believe is a mental breakdown Mara is forced into an outpatient psychiatric program. While there she is forced to hid what she can do, not only from the other patients but also from the doctors that are treating her. To add to her problems someone from her past is out to get her which no one is willing to believe. No one except the seductively hot, Noah Shaw. Together they will try and figure out what is going on, and who is out to get them.
Review:
What can you expect from the second installment of the Mara Dyer trilogy? How about more drama, mystery and, definitely more romance. I have to say I still have no idea who the bad guy is or where Mara's power comes from and I have no clue how it's all going to end. Which of course is great! I don't like it when a book is too predicable and a reader is able to tell who the bad guy is and can see all the twists and turns a story takes pages before it happens. I love that this book is full of mystery and I'm reading in state of total anticipation wondering what's going to happen next.
Mara definitely has to find her inner strength as her life becomes even more complicated than it was before. Most of the issues she is dealing with she has to deal with on her own since her family believes she is slightly unstable. But of course she has Noah by her side which is a huge plus. He's not only comforting and supportive he has the resources to help Mara. Then there's that cocky attitude and cute accent and what more could a girl ask for? I loved the interactions between Mara and Noah. They play well off each other and seem to have what the other needs. Honestly, some of my favorite parts of the book were when the two of them were having a conversation. I may have had a huge smile on my face at times.
We definitely learn more background information of the two main characters as well as a few other characters. I was glad to see a character from the first book return. He added some snark to Mara's life but was also a source of friendship for her. Some of the information that was revealed I found to be very surprising and it had me wondering how things were going to connect in the end. This is definitely a must read especially if you liked the first book. At times this book is sad but at the same time I believe that Mara shows that she can't be held down. She has chosen to fight. I can't wait to see how her story concludes in the last book in the this trilogy.
Cover:
I like the cover but I wish that it was a little brighter so that we could see the characters a bit more. Though the murkiness does fit how dark Mara and Noah's lives seem to be. I also like that I can't tell if the couple's hands are drifting apart or coming together.

This week my Swoon comes from Before I Die (Soul Screamers #6) by Rachel Vincent. I had a difficult time choosing which Swoon to use, there were so many steamy moments.
"Tod lifted me, and I wrapped my legs around his waist. My mouth found his, and I couldn't taste enough of him. He was warm, when everything else was cold. He was sweet, when the world tasted bitter. He was mine, and I wanted to be his, in every possible sense. I'm not sure how we wound up on the bed, but suddenly my pillow was beneath my head, and Tod was over me, and I could touch him without having to hang on for balance. His mouth fed from mine, desperately hungrily, then suddenly his lips were gone, and mine were left open. Empty and lonely. But then he kissed my neck, and I gasped as he worked his way lower, my fingers tangled in his hair, my body alive with possibility, on fire from every touch." SWOON #YABound
That's my Swoon, hope you enjoyed it! Let me know what made you Swoon.

I just finished Scorch by Gina Damico, so of course I had to choose a teaser from this funny yet slightly sad book.
That's my teaser, hope you enjoyed it:) If you have a teaser please share the link so I can see what teaser you choose.
"You've been back here in my presence for two agonizing hours now, and if we don't properly make out soon, I'm going to hurl myself off the roof." Lex blinked. Then Driggs smushed his lips into hers so quickly that she had to grab the gutter to keep from falling."

My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is Hidden ( House of Night #10) by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. I have been reading this series for awhile and I really want to know what happens next. I'm not going to say I have loved every book in this series but I've liked them enough to stick with the HON series But with so many books in one series I guess that can be expected. These books are usually action packed, so I'm sure Hidden will be as well.

My Swoon comes from Whispers at Moonrise (Shadow Falls #4).
"He kissed her again Only this kiss wasn't so innocent. Not that she complained. He tasted like passion, like raw, sweet passion. His weight came against her in all the right places and she felt the differences in what made him male and her female. His vibration, his humming seduction entered her every place his hard body now touched hers. She met his kiss with desperation wanting to feel it, wanting to savor how he made her feel." SWOON #YABound
Yep! That is definitely a scene that made me Swoon. What had you Swooning this week?

This week my teaser comes from Whispers at Moonrise ( Shadow Falls #4). Sorry for the late posting, my internet decided to go out last night:(
"Normally when the night sang, it meant all was well. It was in the quiet that things jumped out of the shadows. When evil seemed to appear."
"No one breathed but her. Yet the grip on her wrist hadn't loosened. Whoever had dragged her under here hadn't left-someone still clung to her wrist as if that person's very life depended on it."

Most Anticipated (7)
This week My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is, Into the Woods: Tales from the Hollows and Beyond. I'm a huge fan of the The Hollows series by Kim Harrison. I can't wait to get my hands on this one. A collection of novellas including, Million Dollar Baby told from Trent Kalamack's POV. Yeah, I wouldn't mind learning what's going on in his head. Hopefully these novellas will hold me over while I wait for book 11, Ever After. If not I can always re-read the series to get my fill of these amazing characters. Plus I recently learned that in the paperback edition of A Perfect Blood one of the chapters is told from Trent's POV. Let's just say I rushed out to read it immediately. The chapter gives insight into Trent thoughts about Rachel. I may have then re-read the chapter from Rachel's POV to compare. I'm not obsessed at all.
Into the Woods: Tales from the Hollows and Beyond, Kim Harrison, Expected Publication: October 9, 2012, Harper Voyager, Hardcover, 384 pgs.
Info:
A true queen of urban fantasy--the New York Times bestselling author of the wildly popular series featuring bounty hunter witch-turned-daywalking demon Rachel Morgan--the phenomenal Kim Harrison explores the Hollows more deeply than ever before in Into the Woods, her first collection of short stories. Rachel is here, as are Jenks the pixie, elven tycoon Trent Kalamack, and an unholy host of vampires, demons, shapeshifters, ghosts, and other assorted supernatural beings, friends and foes. Into the Woods combines original work, including a new Hollows novella, as well as all of Kim Harrison's previously published short fiction gathered together in one volume for the very first time. No true Hollows aficionado will want to pass this up.(Goodreads)
That's what I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this week. Are there any books coming out this week that you have to get your hands on?

My Swoon is from The Evolution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer #2) by Michelle Hodkin. I have been dying to read this book ever since I read the last line of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. I was definitely in need of a Noah fix. Luckily, I have been able to satisfy my Noah withdrawals. Without further babbling by me here is my Swoon:
"His hands were on my hips and his mouth was on my skin and he lifted me and I wrapped myself around him. I was backed against the door and the copper buttons on Noah's jeans pressed against me and the ache was delicious and not enough, not at all. His rough check electrified the curve between my neck and shoulder and I leaned back, completely senseless. His fingers pressed into my hips and he shifted me up and then his lips brushed against mine. Soft. Tentative. Waiting for me to kiss them." SWOON#YABound

And...I'm still Swooning over this scene!! What do you think? If you have a Swoon let me know, I loved being Swooned.

"Daniel would never believe that the things that were happening to me, the things I could do, were real-aside from Noah, who would?-but it was important to make sure he thought I didn't believe they were real either. I had to make sure he didn't think I believed my own fiction, or I would set off his alarms."
