Swoon Thursday (51)

The ladies at YA Bound have created a hot and fun new meme called SWOON #YABound. If you want to join in here's what you need to do.

All you need to do is pick up the book you are currently reading or just finished reading. Find what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding and your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering. Then shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag  #YABound, post in the comments, or grab the awesome button from YA Bound (above) share it on your blog!
My Swoon comes from Whispers at Moonrise (Shadow Falls #4).

"He kissed her again  Only this kiss wasn't so innocent. Not that she complained. He tasted like passion, like raw, sweet passion. His weight came against her in all the right places and she felt the differences in what made him male and her female. His vibration, his humming seduction entered her every place his hard body now touched hers. She met his kiss with desperation wanting to feel it, wanting to savor how he made her feel." SWOON #YABound
Yep! That is definitely a scene that made me Swoon. What had you Swooning this week?

Grab your current read.

Be careful not to include spoilers! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away. You don’t want to ruin the book for others.)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week my teaser comes from Whispers at Moonrise ( Shadow Falls #4). Sorry for the late posting, my internet decided to go out last night:(

Whispers at Moonrise (Shadow Falls, #4)

"Normally when the night sang, it meant all was well. It was in the quiet that things jumped out of the shadows. When evil seemed to appear."
"No one breathed but her. Yet the grip on her wrist hadn't loosened. Whoever had dragged her under here hadn't left-someone still clung to her wrist as if that person's very life depended on it."

C.C. Hunter, Whispers at Moonrise ( Shadow Falls #4), pgs 63 & 85

That's my teaser for this week. Hope you enjoyed it! If you have a teaser let me know so I can check it out:)

Most Anticipated (6)

Whispers at Moonrise (Shadow Falls, #4)

My Most Anticipated Release of the Week is: Whispers at Moonrise (Shadow Falls #4)I have been looking forward to reading this book since the second after I finished book 3, Taken at Dusk. The ending of  Taken at Dusk left me with a ton of questions and now hopefully I will get some answers. This series has a love triangle and I am just hoping that the love issue will get resolved. I can't wait to get my hands on this book to see what happens next in Kylie's life!!
Whispers at Moonrise, C.C. Hunter, Expected Publication: October 2, 2012, St. Martin's Griffin, Paperback, 400 pgs.

Summary:
Shadow Falls Camp is back in session with the most explosive installment yet.  A shocking new threat will rock Shadow Falls—changing it forever and altering Kylie’s journey in ways she never imagined.

Even at a camp for supernatural teens, Kylie Galen has never been normal. Not only can she see ghosts, but she doesn't seem to belong to any one species—she exhibits traits from them all. As Kylie struggles to unlock the secrets of her identity, she begins to worry that Lucas will never be able to accept her for what she is, and what she isn't... a werewolf.  With his pack standing in their way, Kylie finds herself turning more and more to Derek, the only person in her life who’s willing to accept the impossible.

As if life isn't hard enough, she starts getting visits from the ghost of Holiday, her closest confidante.  Trouble is, Holiday isn't dead…not yet anyway.  Now Kylie must race to save one of her own from an unseen danger before it’s too late—all while trying to stop her relationship with Lucas from slipping away forever.   In a world of constant confusion, there’s only one thing Kylie knows for sure.  Change is inevitable and all things must come to an end…maybe even her time at Shadow Falls.(Goodreads)

That's the book I am looking forward to this week. How about you? Are there any books you have been eagerly awaiting releasing this week?

Taken at Dusk (Shadow Falls, #3)
Even as her heart ached to solve the mystery of who her father was--of who she was and, hopefully what she was--her instincts screamed for her to run and hide.
Was this what she feared? Learning the truth?

C.C. Hunter, Taken at Dusk, pg 2

I haven't actually started this book yet but I plan to get to it later today. I really liked the first two books in this series so I can't wait to read this one.

Swoon Thursdays (20)

The ladies at YA Bound have created a hot new meme called SWOON #YABound IF you want to join in here's what you need to do.

All you need to do is pick up the book you are currently reading or just finished reading. Find what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding and your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering. This week my SWOON comes from Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter.

"His hand moved up to the back of her neck. He shifted her head slightly so her mouth was more accessible to his. The slightly rough texture of his shaven cheeks felt wonderful. His tongue moved inside. Slowly at first, then without hesitation. Warmth built inside her and she couldn't seem to get close enough to him." SWOON #YABound

Steamy right! Of course I had to go with the extended version, I had to keep all the hotness intact.
