When I first heard about Beth Revis's idea to write a post about the books we are most grateful for, I instantly knew which books I would write about. The books that changed me the most were Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments, specifically City of Bones. Up until then most of the reading I had been doing was required you know the good stuff that would help me get my degree. I didn't have a lot of time for outside reading but once I read The Mortal Instruments I found time.
I loved the world that Cassandra Clare created, Shadowhunters, angels, demons and of course the amazing Jace. The story was incredible I found myself smiling and laughing at some of the crazy things Jace said. I stayed up all night finishing this book and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next in this amazing series. After I finished The Mortal Instruments (books 1&2) I started buying more and more YA books. I devoured them and was instantly ready for more.
