Books I am Grateful For

City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2)City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)When I first heard about Beth Revis's idea to write a post about the books we are most grateful for, I instantly knew which books I would write about. The books that changed me the most were Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments, specifically City of Bones. Up until then most of the reading I had been doing was required you know the good stuff that would help me get my degree. I didn't have a lot of time for outside reading but once I read The Mortal Instruments I found time.

I loved the world that Cassandra Clare created, Shadowhunters, angels, demons and of course the amazing Jace. The story was incredible I found myself smiling and laughing at some of the crazy things Jace said. I stayed up all night finishing this book and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next in this amazing series. After I finished The Mortal Instruments (books 1&2) I started buying more and more YA books. I devoured them and was instantly ready for more.

Author Beth Revis is having a giveaway! Why you ask? It is her way of thanking those who have been with her on her crazy journey. To enter head over to her site for all of the details.
